That lucky bitch.
Stockholm Syndrome Jealousy Syndrome¹ (SSJS) is the psychological response of irrational jealousy sometimes seen in the friends and relatives of people suffering from Stockholm Syndrome (SS), which is the psychological response sometimes seen in abducted hostages, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger or risk in which they have been placed.
Patty Hearst, the granddaughter of newspaper baron William Randolph Hearst, is perhaps the most obvious example of Stockholm Syndrome, having joined her kidnappers, the Symbionese Liberation Army, in robbing a bank.

Her cousin, Randolph Harris, however, suffered from SSJS, which was brought about when he realized that Patty had hitched herself to a cause through which she could channel her passion and energy, a cause that finally gave meaning to a life burdened by pedigree and expectation.
Please note: SSJS does not refer to the jealousy brought about when the spouse or significant other of an abducted individual becomes aware that the abducted significant other has, in fact, developed romantic feelings for his or her kidnapper. This is known as Stockholm Syndrome Cuckold Syndrome (SSCS). It is, by all accounts, much more difficult to treat.
