Thank you for your interest in Japanese Tea Ceremony Camp. Each year we receive hundreds of applications from promising young people hoping to learn the ancient art of the Japanese tea ceremony in the seclusion of the Bershire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. Unfortunately we do not have space for everyone, and we regret to inform you that we cannot offer you a space this year.
And while we appreciate your enthusiasm for the portrayal of the Japanese Tea Ceremony in the motion picture The Karate Kid II, we would warn you that this is a Hollywood dramatization and it will never fully convey the vast subtleties and nuances of the actual ceremony. In short, please take this scene for what it is: a great introduction to the Japanese Tea Ceremony, nothing more.
