People will disagree with me on this, but I say that if Jesus were a fly fisherman, he would definitely wear waders.
Of course, this is where people say, “Dallas, are you crazy? Jesus can walk on water. What’s he need waders for?”
And this is where I say, “Because if Jesus were a fly fisherman, then he’d want to be in the water, walking upstream. And if he were in the water, then he’d have to wear waders. There’s just no other way.”
And then people would say, “Dallas, why would the Son of God wear waders if he can make water into wine and whatnot?”
“Because,” I say, “river rocks is slippery. I don’t care who you are.”
