Why I Didn’t Watch Yesterday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ‘Autism Speaks 400’

· I’ll tell you why. Because autism doesn’t speak; autistic people do. Also, Jimmie Johnson didn’t get the pole. And I’d rather drink highway tar out of a garbage truck than watch Kyle Busch pull lead.

A lot of the time, unless they’re “spectrum” or “Aspergers” or something else that means “not really, really autistic” they don’t speak at all.

Also, I guess I should have put my name as “Autistic’s Mom” or “Mom of an autistic”.

I do agree about Kyle Busch though. That guy’s the worst.
