Opening Prayer at Carrington’s Formaldehyde Factory Christmas Banquet

November 5, 2010

Heavenly Father,

We thank you again for another year of prosperity here at Clarrington’s, supported in large part by the ever-expanding biology departments of developing nations.

We thank you also for blessing our workers and ensuring their health and safety among the vats.

We ask that you care for our fallen colleague, Arnold McTeague, who as you know lost his life in a frog-swallowing dare that, by your hand, he had accomplished several times before.

And finally–

Pray for the Fetal Pigs!” [Shouted from the audience]

And finally, thank you Father for the formaldehyde itself, which preserves not only your blessed creatures for us to study, thus advancing our medicine, but also for preserving the finances of the families that make up this great company.

In your name we pray.

Amen
